About

Pocket Quest started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of games we couldn't put down. At some point it made sense to turn those late-night arguments into something people could actually read. So here we are.

Everything on this site comes from real play sessions. We don't skim a trailer and call it a review. If we say the combat gets grindy around level twenty, it's because someone here hit that wall and grumbled about it.

We pick games across a wide spread of genres, from slow-burn RPGs to quick arcade runs. The only rule is that it has to run on a phone and be worth the storage space. Free, paid, indie, big studio, we don't much care as long as it's fun.

Nobody pays us to feature them. When a game disappoints us, we say so, and when it surprises us, we get a little carried away. That's the whole idea.

Lena Hofmann — Lena has been reviewing mobile games for nearly a decade and still keeps three phones charged just for testing. She leads the editorial team and writes most of the longer features.
