How to Actually Master Drift Racers
Arcade racers like Neon Drift Rally live and die by the drift, and for a while I was terrible at them. Then a few small changes clicked and my times dropped dramatically.
First: enter corners slower than feels right, then hold the drift longer. Beginners brake too little and slide off the track. The boost you earn from a clean, extended drift more than makes up for the slower entry.
Second: learn one track at a time instead of grinding random races. Muscle memory for a specific layout is worth more than raw reflexes. I ran the same three corners over and over until they felt automatic.
Finally, mess with your car choice. Handling matters more than top speed on tight tracks, and the fastest car isn't always the best. Once I switched to a lighter, grippier ride, everything got easier.
